PNN was very happy to help sponsor and participate in the Illinois Association of Court Clerks’ annual conference in Oak Brook, Illinois in September. Sandi Cianci, Circuit Clerk of Kankakee County, hosted the well-attended and informative conference.

Some fun activities included a day trip to downtown Chicago for lunch and a boat ride along the river. The Bears, Bowling and Bocce Ball event that evening at the Oak Brook Pinstripes gave the attendees a chance to get to know one another, renew longtime acquaintances and relax before the work of the conference began.

The training seminars began in earnest on the following day. Topics such as e-filing and new services were discussed at length and many good suggestions were offered.

After a long day of training sessions, the clerks and vendors enjoyed a lovely buffet dinner after which drawings for the vendors’ prizes were held. The winner of PNN’s gift basket was Kim Evans (Ford County), and winners of PNN’s gift cards to Lettuce Entertain You restaurants were Lori Johnson (Kane County), Monica Lawrence (Kane), Lynne Gilbert (Woodford), Angela Bentlage (Madison) and Jeffrey Mullins (Cook).

After dinner, the audience was entertained by the classic rock-n-roll band, Five Guys Named Moe. Everyone agreed that the Conference was an effective learning tool for the clerks as well as a great opportunity to learn about other counties and how they handle similar situations. Thank you to all the clerks who visited PNN’s booth, played our little game and learned more about how PNN can help you! We look forward to visiting with you again next year!
