This 2010 mural was painted as a tribute to its city’s history and strong connection to the Mississippi river. Many local businesses and organizations made donations toward the mural, making it a beautiful representation of community pride.

In our last issue, Vicki was at the University of Illinois’ Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Illinois. Congratulations to Kaitlyn Noonan, Legal Assistant/Paralegal at Carlson Dash, for being the first with a correct answer!

In addition to being used for a college football team, the U of I stadium hosted the Chicago Bears in 1985 as a practice site for Super Bowl XX. It’s also the finish line for the annual Illinois Marathon.
